How to Create App Screenshots in 3 Simple Steps

Create a RenderDuck project, add your real app screenshot, customize the design, and export the finished graphics for your app marketing.

Step 1

Create a New Design Project

Start by choosing the type of design you want to create. RenderDuck lets you choose Play Store, App Store, Social Media, Printables, Custom Size, or open an existing project.

Select Play Store for Android listing graphics.

Choose the exact canvas size you need.

You can optionally add your Play Store or App Store URL.

Click Create design to open the editor.

Tip

Choose the correct phone or tablet size before starting so your project matches the output you want.

Add Your App Screenshot

Inside the editor, select the phone or screen area where your app image should appear. Then use Add Screenshot to upload your real app screen.

Select the phone screen you want to edit.

Click Add Screenshot.

Upload your actual app screenshot.

Use the editor controls to align and customize the design.

Add more screens when you need multiple pages.

Keep each screenshot focused on one clear feature or benefit so users can understand the app quickly.

Step 2 — select the device and add your app screenshot.

Export Your Finished Screenshots

When your design is ready, open Share & Export. Select your export format and choose which screens you want to download.

Open Share & Export.

Select the file type, such as PNG.

Select all screens or only the pages you need.

Click Start Download.

Tip

Before exporting, review every page for text spacing, screenshot alignment and consistency.
